A fun even to honor contributors to Golden's history! The 2011 honorees include John Tracy, from the Golden Transcript; Lynda Wentworth, from the Golden Historic Preservation Board; and the Golden Fire Department, Golden's original preservationists. Reservations are for $55 ($19 tax-deductible), where you may dine on the seafood and beef au jus buffet featuring a full salad, fruit and cheese bar, shrimp, oysters, prime rib, smoked salmon, chicken du jour, vegetable medley and a dessert buffet, sample the silent auction, and then see and hear the awards and remembrances of all this year's honorees.
