Since the 7th Century many structures of various kinds have been built within the present limits of the Golden community. From the stone foundations that held the Woodland native structure that is now an archaeological site to the stone foundations that hold up the Astor House, the built world of the Golden community lies at the heart of what remains and represents our unique and colorful past. Listed below are inventories of the older and younger structures of the Golden area community, not necessarily meaning each listed place is of preservation significance, but a tool to help people know the history behind their places and find out what about them could be worth keeping around for future generations:
