This is the earliest known photograph of the collective city of Golden, taken from approximately present-day 13th and Cheyenne Sts. looking northeast towards North Table Mountain.  Buildings in photograph include Lake House hotel, Loveland Block with rear addition under construction; Loveland Cottage, Barnes Mansion and First Baptist Church in its very first architectural appearance.
