Bingley, C.W. "Golden Confectionery" - 328
Sod Confectionery
Circa 1880
Pictured here is a very rare two-story sod building that was erected somewhere
in downtown Golden during the 19th Century. In this photo it is serving
as a confectionary, next to a two-story brick storefront building belonging
to either tinner J.H. Parker or blacksmith H.J. Parker. Sod building's
architecture indicates an origin from 1860s or 1859.
