This image shows Washington Avenue early in the 20th Century, after John H. Linder merged the original Linder Block and Loveland Block into a unified neoclassical Linder Block (today's location of 1215-21 Washington Avenue).  Large building at left is the Opera House Block (built in 1879), where the Golden Opera House Company hosted travelling shows throughout the 19th and early 20th Centuries.
