Wells Fargo Stage Stop
In the year 2000, Wells, Fargo & Company acquired a bank in Golden for the first time.  Yet, when the Wells Fargo stagecoach joins the parade down Washington Avenue in the summer, it travels the exact same route countless others before it did.  It passes in front of the locations of Wells Fargo's office and buildings before it reaches its bank.

How is this possible?

Wells Fargo returned to Golden after an absence of 130 years.

In the 21st Century, Golden Landmarks has welcomed back one of Golden's most valued and highly esteemed firms with this exhibit on its history in the Golden area.
